Communication – GOsC resources
We have produced some resources looking at aspects of communication:
The Osteopathic Patients’ Expectations of Osteopathic Care (OPEn) study was aimed at exploring patients’ expectations of osteopathic care, and the extent to which these were being met. Elements of communication underpin many of these expectations, which can be seen in both the full report and the summary version.
Our Public and patient perceptions research was built upon previous research including the OPEn study above, and explored public and patient’s perceptions of the profession, as well as their information needs, expectations and perceptions of professionalism and quality care. Again, much of the findings relates to aspects of communication.
