Communication scenarios – General Medical Council

The General Medical Council  has a range of practice scenarios on their website to aid with the management of cases which might be challenging.

These are about promoting good practice in accordance with the GMC Guidance, but often relate to issues of communication and how the doctor should convey difficult information to patients.

The case scenarios could be worked through on one’s own, but could also be used as a basis for group discussions.
