The Sacroiliac (SI) Joint is an area that is supported by dense ligaments and many complex structures, and has always been an area of much discussion and debate over the years. The SI Joint and Pelvic Ring is an area frequently injured by trauma and falls in sport and general activities, and has an increased risk of dysfunction during pregnancy and postpartum, but by some a forgotten or poorly understood area.
This course will explore the anatomy, evaluation and treatment of the Sacroiliac Joint and Pelvis. This will include how the joints and pelvis can be directly and indirectly influenced by the other areas of the body and the assessment of these.
The aim of this course is to develop your understanding of the Sacroiliac Joint and the bio-mechanics of the Pelvis.
At the end you will be able to assess, identify, treat and rehabilitate this complex area, and aid your patients recovery.
