Ergonomics is a huge part of health and wellbeing; many of your patients are likely to be experiencing pain influenced by the set-up of their workstations.
David Annett leads this advanced course in ergonomics for osteopathic treatment, building on skills developed through introductory CPD courses and practical experience.
The emphasis of the course will be on applied practice, ensuring that participants can support their patients effectively in their work environments.
Course content will include:
- assessment protocols and report writing
- case studies (both computer-based and non-computer-based)
- a practical assessment in a live office
- manual handling assessments
- car assessments
- ergonomic equipment
- working with disabilities
This course is ideal for all manual therapists including osteopaths, chiropractors and physiotherapists, but delegates should have attended the introductory ‘Ergonomics for Manual Therapists’ before attending the advanced course.
