Chinese Medicine in your Osteopathic Practice

Delegates will gain a basic understanding of Chinese Medicine (including differences between dry needling and classical acupuncture) and learn practical techniques which can be used immediately to improve effectiveness in treatment, increase sensitivity and maintain their own health.

Day 1

  • The magic of acupuncture and oriental medicine – Basic principles
  • Using oriental techniques to improve bodywork
  • First aid pressure points
  • Dry needling meets classical acupuncture – experience some subtle techniques yourself
  • Strengthening your body and improving sensitivity with Qigong

Day 2

  • Magic of acupuncture and oriental medicine – more
  • Cupping techniques
  • Daoist massage techniques
  • Qigong and directing Qi in clinic
  • There should also be time to focus on any special requests

By the end of each workshop the practitioner should have a better understanding of Oriental Medicine and a range of practical techniques to use safely in clinic and in daily life.
